Principal's Message

Welcome back, Sheep-Harney Eagles!

It is my absolute honor to continue serving as the principal of Sheep-Harney Elementary School as we begin an exciting new school year. Building on the momentum from our first year together, I am filled with gratitude for our growing school family and inspired by the incredible progress we’ve made.

Our theme this year, “Together We SOAR: Committed to Building Bridges for Student Success,”reflects our unwavering belief that success is not achieved alone. It is built through strong relationships, open communication, and a shared commitment to the growth of every child. Whether it’s the bridge between home and school, teacher and student, or one grade level to the next, we are intentionally strengthening the connections that help our students thrive.

At Sheep-Harney, SOAR stands for:

• Strive for Excellence

• Own Our Actions

• Achieve Together

• Respect and Responsibility

These core values continue to shape the way we learn, teach, and lead. They guide our instruction, our behavior expectations, and our partnerships with families and the broader community.

This year, you’ll see us expanding opportunities for student leadership, deepening our focus on academic achievement, and creating more spaces for parents and caregivers to engage in their child’s educational journey. Together, we will build bridges that support not only where our students are today—but where they are headed tomorrow.

Thank you for trusting us with your children. I encourage you to stay connected, stay involved, and never hesitate to reach out. Let’s make this another incredible year—Together We SOAR!

With gratitude and high expectations,

Mr. Jonathan Snead, Principal
